Why a family rather than a single product
The problem a brand faces does not always begin at the same point. In some cases the packaging is copied, in others the content is diluted, in others the brand name is used with no product involved. Committing to a single technology would have meant addressing only the problems that technology can solve. The four methods were therefore developed together.
