Secure Label and Unique Code
This technology places a code on the product that differs for every unit and becomes invalid when duplicated. The code can be verified by a field reader and by a consumer’s phone alike, and every point at which it is read is recorded.
What it solves
An ordinary QR code can be duplicated: photographing a label and printing it on thousands of products is not technically difficult. The code a label carries must therefore belong to that unit alone and become invalid once copied.
In the secure label layer each unit carries its own number, matched to the production record. A second reading of the same number elsewhere becomes visible in the system. The label stops being a carrier of information and becomes the verification itself.
What it provides
Product identity and the record of its journey are held in one layer.
Separation at unit level
Units, not batches, are distinguished, so the boundary of an affected product is drawn as narrowly as possible.
Verification from both sides
The same code is read by the audit team and by the end user; both see the same result.
A record of readings
Where and when the code was read is stored, making the real flow of the distribution channel visible.
Areas of application
In chains where the product passes through many hands and responsibility needs a clear line.
Production and filling line
The code is printed at line exit and that unit’s record opens at the same moment.
Warehouse and shipment
Dispatched units are matched one by one, so count discrepancies are read from the record.
Point of sale and consumer
When the product reaches the end user, the final reading is recorded as well.

Frequently asked
Do we have to change our existing label printing?
The code is placed inside your existing label design. Whether an additional unit is required is determined during technical review of your printing setup.
What happens if the code is copied?
A second reading of the same number in an unexpected place is flagged in the system. A copy is identified from the reading record rather than from the code itself.
Does the consumer have to install an application?
No. Verification runs through the phone camera and browser; no installation is required.
