Textile and Apparel
In textiles, production often does not happen in the brand’s own facility. Spectrace makes it possible to tell your order apart from everything else.
Is every product carrying your label from your order?
In contract manufacturing, an extra run carries the brand’s name but appears nowhere in the brand’s records. When two items look alike, records make the distinction, not looks.
- Extra runs at contract sites
- Counterfeit product and labels
- Unauthorised sellers on marketplaces
- Sustainability and origin claims

Where the sector stands
In textiles, production usually does not happen in the brand’s own facility. At a contract site, a run made outside the order carries the brand’s label but appears nowhere in its records; the two items are physically identical.
That distinction cannot be made by appearance. When a signature bound to the product is built together with a record at unit level, the quantity produced and the quantity shipped agree, and surplus product entering the channel becomes visible.
How Spectrace approaches it
A signature bound to the product works together with a record bound to the chain.
Mark the product
Grafex and Lumvex place an invisible signature on the fabric or the label without changing how the product looks.
Record the order
Tagvex gives each unit its own number, so the quantity produced and the quantity shipped agree.
Watch the channel
Authex follows how your brand appears across online channels.
What you secure
Once the distinction is clear, three outcomes follow.
Production discipline
Product made outside your order becomes visible when it enters the channel.
Price integrity
Product found in an unauthorised channel is recorded, so your pricing holds.
Your origin claim
The story you tell about where the product comes from is backed by a record.
Frequently asked
Can it be applied to the fabric itself?
Marking can be applied to fabric, label or trim; the suitable surface is determined during technical review.
Does the signature survive washing?
It depends on the application. Expected use conditions are defined before rollout.
Does it support our sustainability claim?
Because a record of origin is kept, the sourcing claim becomes something you can document.
