Cosmetics is one of the categories where counterfeiting grows fastest. Imitations of these products, which come into direct contact with the skin, threaten not only brand reputation but also consumer health. Fake cosmetics are often produced indistinguishably from the original packaging and spread quickly through online channels. The manufacturer needs a method to verify the authenticity of their product beyond the packaging appearance. A signature that is invisible yet reliably readable protects both the brand and the consumer.
HOW IT WORKS
What Does Cosmex Do?
Cosmex detects counterfeiting by performing formulation verification in creams, perfumes and makeup products. It marks the product's physical identity with an invisible signature and combines this with digital monitoring. A special reader verifies the product's authenticity in field conditions. The verification record is stored traceably.
